I cared for strangers, people who had very little or no money at all. We would look in every corner of the hospital to look for extra medicine for indigent patients and would give our collection of medications from pharma companies to them. I would go on duty for 36 hours and would wake up in the wee hours to treat patients and often forget about breakfast the next day just so I can prepare for early morning surgery. Im all for paying taxes but when you depict my profession as a burden to society just because there are a few rotten apples in the bunch, its just plain unfair.
