A fracture on my friends left index finger. We go to Lissie - TopicsExpress

A fracture on my friends left index finger. We go to Lissie Hospital Cochin emergency casualty. From there to Lakeshore Hospital Cochin emergency casualty . SERVICE GIVEN BY LISSIE HOSPITAL : 1) Makes her bleed for 3 hours. 2) We are made to pay Rs. 500 as advance. 3) Emergency casualty reception is busy with other things. 4) After 3 hours a junior doctor attends her, removes/cleans her broken nail royally without using a required quantity of anaesthesia. (2ml instead of 5ml) (we enquire...and he says anaesthesia vaangaan marannumoyi!!! ) 5) There is no bed...not even even a chair for her to sit on. She stands for 3 hours with a forlorn look on her face. 6) The doctor tells me SHE HAS A SERIOUS SITUATION AND SHE NEEDS TO BE ADMITTED FOR 2 DAYS and that she needs to be operated. She gives me a #whattheFlook 7) My intuition says I must get out fast. I inform them that I am taking her to another hospital and ask for her summary, which they refuse initially. They make me run up and down to the pharmacy 10 times to buy trivial things they used for that royal cleaning (including, dispo gloves, gauze, cotton) 8) They make me wait again (while she is still bleeding) for the junior doctor to write the summary since he wants to discuss the case condition with a senior doctor. 9 ) Finally they give me another bill of Rs.1072 and threaten me that I cannot take the patient out before paying the bill. Now I give them a #whattheroyalFlook 10) I make noise, pay the bill, howl and ask them if this is the situation for a small wounded person Im terrified of the situation of a common man in a serious situation. May God Bless Them.! SERVICE GIVEN BY LAKESHORE HOSPITAL : 1) Doctor consults in 2 minutes, inform us that nothing is serious, dresses the fractured finger in 20 minutes. I pay the bill of RUPEES 290 happily wondering if they made a mistake. But they tap my shoulders, say everything is just fine and send me home. We hop back and treat her with Baskin-Robins :D So friends which hospital would you prefer??? #AUM #THEPOETACTORCOMPANY
