A friend asked if we should be worried about Isis and upcoming 9/11 to which another friend responded. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her response. I hope you are encouraged by these words............. Worried,no. Watchful, yes. Jesus said that these things would come, but we are to watch and pray that we would be accounted worthy (which comes by His own blood) to escape all these things. And even if we do somehow feel or see the effects of these things personally, we still are to look up for our redemption draws nigh. Isis is just another tool of the devil to steal, kill and destroy. They are no more barbaric or powerful than any demon inspired group in history. They just have more advanced technology to use to kill more people at once. But to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Nobody wants to suffer on the way to heaven, but as long as we are in this world its a possibility. As Christians, we have Gods directive to fear not in Scripture over 300 times. And when it is a temptation, David said What time I am afraid, I will trust in You. So, worry? No. But, pray for our leaders to make wise decisions for the benefit of our country? Constantly!!
