A friend asked me tonight to share What one value I possess that Democrats agree with. After a bit of thought here was my response. Im not sure there is one of my core values that todays Democrats agree with. I believe in empowering individuals. I believe in decentralized government as much as possible. I believe in near zero government involvement in the economy. I believe in a strong national defense. I believe in God. I believe in traditional marriage and family. I believe in the right to self defense and self determination. I believe that we should identify people who vote so no one steals someone elses vote. I believe in tolerance of dissenting views. I believe in freedom of religion, not freedom from religion. I believe in America as the worlds superpower. I believe in federalism over nationalism. I believe that no program is worth mortgaging our childrens future to fund. I believe that the federal government is the product of the states and not the master of them. I believe Barack Obama is a miserable failure as POTUS. I believe Obamacare is the single worst thing to happen to the American health care system in close to a century. I believe torturing a baby in her mothers uterus is worse than scaring a terrorist. I believe a job is better than a handout. I honestly cant think of a single reason to be a Democrat. Can you?
