A friend asked that I shed light on what I mean by ; The future of any nation will rely heavily on the thinking of its PEOPLE ... If we agree nation(s) are built by ppl who share common aspirations. Its not just a land occupied by ppl. I will address quickly the nation call NIGERIA, cos of time. What I knw is that the BIGGEST problem in this country is the PEOPLE. The reason being, they reflect the type of leadership they have. Bcos we are a society of GREEDY PPL we get likewise in leadership. Ppl get leadership they deserve. Period!. Here is a country, that has ppl in both PUBLIC N PRIVATE sectors who will do anything for money. Everywhere U turn to in the country theres a CHURCH/MOSQUE on every corner. Nigerians are the only ppl I knw that has a deaf God, judging by the NOISE when they pray. Have U had any of these RELIGIOUS LEADERS return stolen money?. Have U heard any of this politicians claim to be IDOL worshipers? Theyre either Christians/Muslims. They sit in the front rows in Church or lead prayer in mosque. Here its important to be seen to believe in something than to be SINCERE IN CHARACTER. Any big building construction is either a Church/Mosque, Event Center, Filling Station or a Private School, in that order. This is telling without dispute where our priorities are. My question is, which country in the WORLD has these four things as top evidence of development n is STABLE n ECONOMICALLY vibrant?. Ask whats the current status of EDUCATION/HEALTH sector?. Zero of cos. Technology dont bother? We use phones n computers, who cares. The countries that produces these items dont have our burdens. The list is endless. My point is, until we the PEOPLE change the way we THINK we cant change our FORTUNE. Were the only nation that want CHANGE without SACRIFICE. Enough said!. Let US....Rise n Shine!!
