A friend asked that instead of giving her birthday gifts, that we make a donation to our favorite charity and we did! Join us in supporting Renee Whisner in her recovery and transportation back to the states! This in from Robyn Tordsen Wilson and Mimi Treadway: Dear Friends and Family, Today it is Tuesday Evening Nov. 25th. Renee Whisner appears to look stronger everyday. She is still on Feeding Tube and Ventilator in ICU. Our main focus is to get her off the ventilator so she can talk. She is struggling inside her head wanting to verbalize with us. They are trying their best to keep her Anxiety and Depression down, this would help with her breathing. Her Lungs are still weak. Renee has no feeling from her neck down. Her mind is very strong. We have no idea how long Renee will be here in the Hospital. Tomorrow morning the US Ambassador to India, Kathleen Stephens will be visiting Renee. Now she mouthed to me she wants to see the Prime Minister. I laughed and told her, now that was pushing it, she smiled. The smiles are very few so when I see one my heart smiles also. My husband John is home in Florida working on setting up things for Renee, such as SS, Disability, Rehabilitation Center, figuring out how to her home, etc. We Will need to have many things done in order to bring her to our home including remodeling. Renee as many of you know also served in the United States Airforce. Thank you all for your Prayers.
