A friend from Thailand who helped me out when I was in the street there rang today. She was starting a new restaurant and needed $30 to buy food to get her started. She had to close her last restaurant due to an operation and two months in hospital. I helped her out a bit with the operation. Unfortunately, today, I could not help her out, by the time Western Union had taken its $20 the cost wouldve been $50. With only $60 in the bank and $5 in my wallet I said sorry not at the moment. If I was in a stronger position ie I had $200 then no problem. I didnt feel bad doing this, shes a good business woman and I suggested a few things. I could tell she didnt feel bad either because I could hear her smiling, in her voice. Anyhow Im glad shes ok now, and I must get my finances back on track, university has been expensive.
