A friend just posted this,and after listening, I was grateful I knew him. I met Topper,when I was sneaking into the Rusty Nail at 17. When I graduated from Nursing school , I planned the party at Johnny Sullivans, when he had Crockmeiers in Montgomery. I booked this band. My classmates loved it, they also had no idea they were seeing a roomful of legends at the time. I wont mention any names, but if you know, you know. I could tell you the Topper stories, but they are private. We were never lovers, but we loved each other. I miss you my friend, always. When you blew that harp, it was a freight train. You are missed ! XoS
