A friend of mine once told me that medical schools in the US work in collusion to limit admission and artificially hold down the supply of doctors in order to ensure higher wages for medical practitioners. I think this is terrible and an incredibly dangerous practice if in fact true, especially as populations and demographics continue to change. Im not putting down the medical profession but more people can and should be involved.
