A friend of mine told me about a very special book about photography that he really treasures. The other day I was round at his house, he showed me the book. There are no pictures in it. It consists of a conversation between two photographers. I immediately came home and ordered it from Amazon. Flicking through a few pages I found some pretty inspirational thoughts, no mumbo-jumbo arty-farty words that you often cant comprehend (well I cant). Its not technical. It does talk about contact sheets but dont let that put you off. Some lovely reading for all photographers, whatever you specialise in. Im struggling with a link to Amazon. But heres a cached version. The reviews are worth reading. One says the book is pompous and tedious.
