A friend of mine was banned for 6 days because he befriended strangers on FB, which according to their ridiculous policy is not allowed. Thus, I’d like to pose a question to FB users and your friend list goes over two hundred or reaches the five thousand limit can you honestly say you know all these people? If one comes across a profile which seems interesting and decides to request a friendship with the individual and the request is denied is that a valid reason to suspended one’s account? FB says you should only befriend people you know or classmates but in reality do you really want to reach out to folks you don’t like? I was under the false impression that a social media is a place where individual could form new friendships with individuals all over the world but with all these restrictions how long before one starts to lose interest in FB and began looking towards other social media’s for excitement. I think its high time FB had competition because I’m considering closing my account for good because the hype of FB has begun to wear off.
