A friend of mine went through a recent health scare in his family. And all the fears, all the worries crept up. Everything was beyond their control. It was paralyzing. It was one of those moments where you have to decide: do I really believe God is good? Do I really believe He loves me no matter what happens? His answer was yes. And that’s when he realized, whatever was going to happen, would happen—he couldnt control it. But when it came to worry, he had a choice. He chose to trust God would give them what they needed when they needed it, and even though it was scary, frustrating, filled with tension and ultimately a positive result… God was with them through it all. Heres how he summed it up: The bigger God became in our hearts, the less room there was for worry. So grow God in your hearts today. Relocate your treasure into the things He cares about. Earnestly seek God rather than desperately seeking your needs. You can throw all your cares on God because He cares deeply for you.
