A friend of mine went to the store yesterday and was treated badly by another customer because the wallet she pulled her EBT card out of was apparently too nice for a person using SNAP. That wallet was a gift from a friend. It was a gift to a hard working mother who sacrifices a lot for her family. If you are a person who believes that families using assistance should be wearing sackcloth and ashes and asking your permission to feel good about themselves, do us both a favor and defriend me now--both here and in the nonvirtual world. I will not debate this. If you havent learned by now that you are not the judge and jury of who gets to eat, I have no use for you. Get this: YOU DONT KNOW why a person is on SNAP or why they may have something nice. So screw right off.
