A friend of mine who is a young widow, working 2 jobs to support her 4 children is very tired most of the time and did not have the energy or the time to tame her over grown front garden. Grass was knee high, nettles galore and rose bushes were out of control and trying to catch anyone who came to her door. Yesterday as she returned from work, she found that someone had been round and cut back the hedges, mowed the lawn and tied back the rose bushes. The jungle outside her door has been transformed into a beautiful front garden. She burst into tears when she saw that. She suspects the culprit is one of her friend but no one left a note and neighbours didnt see who it was. Most people want to change the world and do not realise how easy it is to change someones world today by a small gesture, a little bit of time and caring. My friend still has 2 jobs and kids and all that she was doing before but she has a bit more positive outlook today, feels a little bit better knowing that she is not alone and people care.
