A friend posted some recent pictures from Mozambique. Its raining again. A lot. and a nearby storm may develope into a cyclone. Its not to the extent, yet, of what has happened before. Pemba, where I visited last year, is already wet and could get more rain. I admire a people that, when the weather is overwhelming, grab the babies and a mattress and head for high ground and some shelter from the rain and dont much think of complaining. I could go into a good rant about our ease of life here in the USA, but will not. Rather I will ask you to focus on the needs of the people. First Jesus, because He brings hope and strength. Then prayer. Not praying for them so much as praying for yourself. Yes yourself. My prayer is this; God what can I do ? How can I help ? Perhaps youll hear that this is not your fight. So ask where is my fight? Maybe itll be in your neighborhood. Wherever it is the harvet is plentiful, but the workers are few . Actually, I would ask for prayer that the cyclone does not form and the storm system does not land. Thank You
