A friend recently asked me how I save my tomato seeds (without the paper towel...) So this is it - in case anyone else doesnt like mucking about with paper towel either :) After soaking the seeds overnight in water - they go into my trusty nylon sieve for a gentle rub-a-dub to remove any pulp. Then just drain off a little by popping the sieve onto a paper towel or tea towel and then flick the seeds out onto a plate... I use a permanent marker to label the plate (so no mix-ups!) which removes easily afterward. And thats my trusty cheese slice - which I just use to gently scrape the seeds off the plate when dry. Rub them around a bit between my fingers to break up any clumps. Job done! :)
