A friend suggested I might like Awakening Master Feminine to which I responded, I remember when the eastern culture seemed enticing and rational to me. Asia seemed to give deep and serious thought to the development and social constructs of man. I still believe in the logic and reasoning of eastern philosophy but I find it a rational explanation for Biblical truths that sometimes leads us to forget GOD. I was a little surprised to find a response to my post. It read I hope there is enough common beliefs between east and west that we can achieve common ground. The abstract concepts of God are fine, but the benefit a woman, there has to be a relevant way to weave a concept into the fabric of daily life. I see nature as the answer, whatever the various concepts of Spirit, it is clear we were gifted with enough through nature to make our life beautiful with just what is already here. I answered AMF with Proverbs 31:10 through 31:31 are natural, practical and Godly; are they not ? Not every woman will be a wife but all (men and women, alike) can aspire to the grace and character embodied in scripture. To which AMF responded I would never ever advise any person to design so important a thing to a doctrine based on faith. While some doctrines and religious texts have limited value, most are the writings of a small group of men, with their own agenda. History shows us clearly the downfall of people who entrust their culture to a small elite band of clerics, who have proved time and time again that they are more capable of evil than good. They divide nations, divide families and divide couples. I know of no book or collection of words that God has authorized. Any person can make such a claim. Most books, written by holy masters are destroyed. Through time and translation we know the works are corrupt. why else would there be hundreds of versions of the same thing, all very different, all claiming to be the only one. The men making such claims have hands covered in blood and terrible deeds. If these doctrines were of value, then the millions of people who have practiced these tenants for centuries, would have brought peace and joy to the world long ago. No. Surely any mature person can see this. There is a natural blueprint for life. Look for that. And double and triple check any doctrine to confirm that the wise and evolved of this time concur. I leave it to you to weigh opinion against opinion.
