A friend told me no one in this world is irreplaceable, including me in the local cosplay community. The world is not going to stop because of me. I strongly agreed to it. For the past 13 years, my team and I had being trying very hard to make cosplay event free for everyone. And we want to make everyone(including me and my partners) happy. Cosfest today has 24,000 visitor since 2009 , and it is really hard to make it free for everyone. there are even people who think that I am stupid to make it free for everyone. Imagine if I charge one person charge 5 dollar, I will get 24,000 x 5= 120,000. and for 5 years, 120,000 x 5 = 600,000. While it does not means that 24,000 people will pay the 5 dollar, but it means that my organisation have loss 600,000 dollar to make the event free for everyone since 2009. While 600,000 dollar may not means a lot to big organisation, it does means a lot to me. During Cosfest, there are people shouting at my staff. I understand that Cosfest may not be irreplaceable and the world will definitely not stop turning without Cosfest, but I hope that everyone will appreciate the effort put up by my staff. Cosfest objective is to make everyone(including my staffs) happy, so everyone please play a part to make it a happy event.
