A friendly note from your LCSC Financial Aid Office: SATISFACTORY - TopicsExpress

A friendly note from your LCSC Financial Aid Office: SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS As you know, to remain in a satisfactory status with Financial Aid, you need to have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher, a completion rate of 67% of all attempted credits, and complete within the maximum credits allowed for your declared degree or certificate. Your Spring Semester grades are important in determining your cumulative grade point average and completion rate. For Financial aid, the following common grades are considered to be non-completer grades. This means that in the completion calculation, these credits will be counted in attempted but not earned credits. These grades are W, F, I, NC, or AU. By receiving a W or AU, your completion rate will be impacted. Your grade point average will reflect grades of F or NC. The consequences of an I grade will show in completion rate and grade point average at the time in which the I is converted to the grade earned at the end of the allotted time period for completion. If you are currently on an academic plan, the impact of the above listed grades on your eligibility can be severe. If you have any questions or find yourself in a situation where you are facing the potential of receiving one of these grades, you need to contact the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible: 208.792.2224 or Reid Hall 208.
