A fulfilling day of experiencing beautiful quilting from a variety of artists. The National Quilt Museum has over 350 quilts that they rotate. These are best of shows from throughout the nation and in numerous categories. There was a nice mix of both machined and hand quilted from traditional to contemporary. They had some of the most amazing miniatures that ia have ever seen. The special exhibits were one from Japan and one from the civil war era representing both the north and the south. Pictures were not allowed in the museum. I was able to buy a book that included a lot of the quilts on exhibit.
