A full room at the Habitat III Prep Com I Side Event - Cities That Work for Everyone: Inclusive, Participation & Partnership in the New Urban Agenda, jointly organised by Huairou Commission, SDI & WIEGO. The session highlights that grassroots, esp women, are innovative and continuously coming up with solutions to make livable cities, working with both local and local governments. They need to have space in formal governance and decision making spaces to insure sustainable urban development.
