A full-time research assistant to work in a genetic project on Familial Epilepsy. Responsibilities The post is based in Division of Neurology (Faculty of Medicine) and Institute of Biological Sciences (Faculty of Science), UM and involves assisting the research team in: · conducting field work such as interviews and administering questionnaires · administering the research project · collecting DNA samples and performing genetic test · data entering and analysis · organizing research group meeting and presentation · assisting in reports and academic journal writing, and manuscripts submission Requirements: · Have at least BSc degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, genetics, or related biomedical sciences · Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team · Strong reporting and documentation skills · Hardworking and able to work independently · Excellent language proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia in writing and speaking.
