A fun night was had by all at the The Word is your Oyster last night...with poetry from the legendary Michael Horovitz who was joined by performance artist extraordinaire Vanessa Vie..along with great music from Jennifer Maidman and Annie Whitehead...poetry and music from LUND who got people up dancing and were joined at one stage by the talented tap dancing poet Wendy Steatham (I kid you not) - a fab combo! Oh..and I played too:) The event is held every month and is well worth going along to if you can get yourselves to Hackney as you never quite know what crazy collection of poets and musos are going to be assembled on the night...but if last night is anything to go by you can guarantee its gonna be interesting at the very least! Great venue and good food too...which always helps. Thanks to Sarah Pritchard for the invite:)
