A funny moment, from years ago, came to mind when one of my friends, Patti Jones, told of her escapade with 2 different black shoes at church this morning. Glenn did the same thing. Before we moved into my parents house, we lived on Faculty Dr. in Wingate. In that house was a walk-in closet. It was dark in there this particular morning.....light bulb burned out or something but Glenn was still trying to put on his shoes. Well he put them on and walked out of the house to go to his job......elementary school principal. Well as everybody knows, those kids are little; closer to the floor where they seem to notice every thing. Back at the house, I was doing my chores when I get a phone call from Glenn. He told me that the little children had laughed so because he was wearing two shoes of different colors......a black and a brown one. Then he went on to remind me that of what he was wearing and to tell me that I NEEDED to bring a shoe of either black or brown in a paper bag. So there I was trying to figure out which color would look best with what he had on, put a shoe in the bag and drive it out to the school. He was a happy camper then and so was I!!!
