A funny post on a friends wall caused me to ponder the meaning of too much drama on FB. Does this anti-dramatic principle carry over into other aspects of the lives of those who subscribe to its creed? For instance, do they state their objections to too much drama on TV. Perhaps too much drama in the books they read? Or too much drama when their sports teams play a tight, exciting game? How about the hospital emergency room triage? I can hear that senario play out now: Sorry sir, but your injuries are too dramatic, and we simply dont need any more drama here tonight! I can see these same people picketing movie theaters nationwide with signs like: Down with Drama! More Coen Brothers! All of this leads me to a logical conclusion. Can there ever be too much comedy?
