A gang of thieves struck in Rosses Point last night, committing - TopicsExpress

A gang of thieves struck in Rosses Point last night, committing several larcenies in the village before departing. Daryl Ewing of Ewings Sea Charters had 8 and 10oz leads, a selection of dennet and gowen and Bradshaw lures, fish lures, side winders, knives, tackle boxes, abu garcia rods, penn reels, a compressor and accessories, power washer, angle grinder, battery charger, sliding mitre saw, mountain bike and lots of other fishing related items stolen from his store. Several outboard engines were also stolen from the pier in Rosses Point last night as well, including a black mercury 9.9 with the serial number 0R275583 belonging to Willie Murphy. If you are offered any of these items or believe them to be stolen, contact the gardai in Sligo on 071-9157000. A reward is being offered by most of the owners of these items for their recovery, so please, let the authorities know or contact Daryl via his facebook page (link below). Also, please share this status and lets get it seen around the country, because chances are they will try to offload this gear somewhere other than Co. Sligo. https://facebook/SligoBoatCharters
