A girl diagnosed with cancer became princess for a day at Disneyland when she was 4, thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation. She wondered why there wasnt a similar organization to help grant the wishes of dogs in need, and at the age of 12 created exactly that. PoundWishes helps provide dogs and cats with surgery, rehabilitation, medication, and other lifesaving interventions.
