A good cause - please help! Todays the day....CAUSE FOR PAWS is ready to publicly launch and I would like to share some information regarding this project that my daughter and I have been working on for several months. We have formed a non-profit organization called CAUSE FOR PAWS. and our mission is to provide safety and shelter for pets of victims of Domestic Violence who are fleeing from abusive homes. The majority of DV shelters do not provide sheltering for pets due to no designated areas at DV shelters. They have little to no resources to provide shelter at fosters, boarders, or vets while families are in shelter. Weve established CAUSE FOR PAWS as an organization whose only purpose is to secure safety for the furbabies of these families. We plan to do this through providing protable kennels onsite at DV shelters or by fostering, short term boarding or with vet offices in the local area where families are located. CAUSE FOR PAWS will be operating solely on public donations as we continue to write and submit for grants that are available to us.
