A good friend of mine and I recently became engaged in a conversation about the ten commandments and their adequacy and relevance for todays society. I believe neither of us represented our opposing positions as well as we could have. Therefore, I am posting this link where a prominent atheist represents my position more adequately than I did. I have some questions. How sincere is the reverence for these commandments from people who can rarely remember all ten?
