A good friend of ours that was involved in the horse racing business sent me a nice story. Gambling isnt always a vice as Frank tells it . Hey Joe, Im not overly active on FB and when I do get on there is just too much content to read them all. I did read your plea for more stories today though. Not sure this qualifies for Maddi Movement, it happened last summer.. I promise I have done nice things since lol but, this is one I felt especially good about. Jenny and I were in Saratoga Springs working the race meet. We were doing our wash at the laundry mat which had an Optical store beside it. We were sitting on a bench outside and an elderly lady came out of the optical store crying. I asked her what was wrong and she went on about her husbands recent passing and that she desperately needed new glasses but could not fully pay for them. I dont recall all the in s and outs of how or why she couldnt fully pay for them but, she needed some money. I had won $100 earlier in the day at the races and handed it over to her. Easy come easy go. She couldnt thank me enough, gave me a hug, went into the store and hopefully sorted things out.
