A good friend told me, Theres a new Spanish delicacy in town. Just tried it at Tunjungan Plazas Food Court. They call it churros. Oh, churros. Yes, Ive read about it in books. Spaniards and Mexicans have made and enjoyed it for breakfast, for ages. How does it taste like? I asked. Well, to be frank, he pondered. It tastes a lot like getas (traditional Javanese snack). I was like, Huh...? :-D Okay, so probably it does taste like getas, but instead of using cassava, churros uses wheat flour (or all-purpose flour) as its main ingredient.
