A good idea for nutmilks from Joy inspired. Thank you. I put 1 cup of assorted nuts and seeds in water. Soak overnight. I do a mix of hemp, sesame, almond, hazel nuts, a couple of brazil nuts, and pumpkin seeds. A variety of seeds increases the nutrients making it more balanced. Brazil nuts for selenium, hemp for protein, pumpkin for zinc, sesame for calcium. . . In the morning rinse. I run them through the juicer with some water. When the pulp comes out add more water and run through again. You should end up with 4 cups of nut milk. Sweeten to taste. If you use soaked dates you can use the soak water and run them through the juicer. My juicer presses out the milk better than a nut bag. I find my nut milk is very creamy, rich. More so than squeezed nut milk. You can also do the same thing with soaked coconut flakes. ( I personally blend the whole date and do not squeeze or strain other than using a yogurt strainer to catch the larger pulp, which i use in the dehydrator to make cookies ) Love· · Share organicauthority/.../7-super-easy-homemade.
