A good read, but a different approach than I take. This year Ill let go of my remaining normals (except Bertha) and most of my remaining single gene co-dom females. I hold back hatchling females to replace about 30-40% of my proven breeder females every year. The bottom moves down quickly, and you need to hold back females aggressively to keep up (at least with co-doms). This is a large part of the reason Im moving almost entirely to recessives/double recessives. Your mileage may vary.
