A good read, why Australia will be worse off under the coalition and exposes the incompetence of Howard and Costello that has been hidden due to the mining boom and their rhetoroc. I totally agree with this statement about selling assets: The first was selling off productive assets. These included airports, the National Rail Corporation, Dasfleet, Telstra, the remaining share of the Commonwealth Bank and many other valuable enterprises. Had Australia retained some or all of these cash-yielding assets, current angst over debt may well have been allayed.
