A good slave speaks - Carnegie at its worst. A complacent view of the world by someone who has accepted American dominance as within the natural order of things - shot through with fallicies: -Russia is not remotely isolated - she is now in a functional alliance with the worlds largest economy and source of virtually all global growth - China. -There is a growing number of countries which have choosen to define an independent line - rejecting American hegemony as self-servingly in the interests of the hegemon - not at all unusual for any Empire. -The fact that countries such as Japan and France have surrendered their sovereignty does not make this desirable, much less noble - rather, that is a slaves mentality. -Regarding the warmth and trust for Germany, anyone who has recently visited Italy, France or Greece will come away with a rather different impression - the references to Germanys 20th Century history are none too subtle on the streets of Milan or Paris. -Finally, the fact that Germany has allowed its foreign policy to be hijacked by Washington, has totally failed to defend its own interests in the Ukrainian crisis - becoming no more than an echo chamber for the worst elements in Washington - is hardly worthy of emulation.
