A good solid win, playing nice football and taking our chances: what could be better? I elected to use our 4-4-2 because it just works the best! There was no surprise in who started upfront but there was between the sticks: Steven Carey returned to the side, following a spell on the bench... And after a tight opening 20 minutes Chesterfield handed us THE golden opportunity (y) Their full-back hacked Ashby from behind and he headed to the showers as a result! From there on I told the side to keep the ball and use the wide areas and we did :) Ashby and Martins combined twice to both score; although I was a tad concerned when both were in the book! I subbed a load of players on cards; when the whistle went we still had ten men and a two - nothing win (y) Weve now played 22 and are 4th | What the hell have I done?
