A good start to the Exhibition. Probably a little too hot for many people to come out but good donations yesterday and some sales and then today only open for 2 hours this afternoon but three books sold and a talk booked for October and a good development for another fund raising activity! An open air Songs of Praise out on Lansdowne Crescent green and preceded by a BBQ. Tea and coffee after in the church brought more people in and many who were very local had no idea the common had such a range of wild flowers. Lots of interest. As much as anything the name Just Act Gambia is being promoted. Sometimes you do not see the result for a long time but the seed has been sown. Looking forward to a week where I have to be in the church for six hours a day which will force me to step back a little from all the hard work!. I hope to get my knitting out again if it is very quiet! Obviously I hope there will be visitors with you amongst them!
