A good story for today! Today I was involded in a hit and run. As many bad things as we see and hear of around the city, there are still some good things. A good semeritan saw some hit my vehicle and take off while it was parked in the store parking lot. They were nice enough to get the persons plate number as well as make and model of the vehicle. They had the store page me, and walk out to my car and explained what happened to me. Alot of people dont have enough respect for others to do that. The cops that arrived were AMAZING!! Officer Sarah Tailbot and her partner (I wish I remembered his name) were there with me for about 2 hours and even tracked down the person who did the hit and run. Both MPD officers were extremely kind and caring, officer Sarahs partner even got down on the very cold pavement to make sure there wasnt damage under my car that would affect me driving it. They were extremely funny as well. I never expected to laugh so much when my car was involved in am accident. Manchester is fortunate to have them and many more like them! I know you here all the misfortunes around town so I thought you like to hear some good!
