A goodbye song for the most amazing journey ever captured by a camera. The dedication of all those involved, the quality of the production, the attention to the spirit and details of the original conception of J.R.R. Tolkien will stay forever as the most complex and ambitious film project ever. But the magic of cinema is that you can revisit this 18-something hours of films and 60 something hours of production material whenever you want. Howard Shores score will accompany many days to come, Peter Jacksons saga will be there to spot on TV by accident or DVD/Bluray for an intentional marathon and the various games will be there for some hours of relief. And of course, the books, these brilliant works of art The Hobbit, the The Lord of the Rings and The Silmarillion (and all the rest) will be there for us. In any format, Professor Tolkien will continue to inspire the generations to come, with his message and values!
