A grandparent asks our group: I have a grandchildren I believe has spd but im not positive and he is 6 and has a lot of the issues I have read about on your site. He has spent a great deal of his life with me so I know there is a problem however his parents blame his behavior on me because they claim I spoiled him and never taught him to follow rules and his dad even calls him a brat and his other grandmother hes not been around as much has mentioned adhd and every time I try to tell my daughter there is a problem she ignores me or blames me. After my friend shared this site with me I believe spd is his problem but how do I know for sure and how do I educate other family members about spd without causing denial and blame?
