This is best done with a strainer semi-immersed in a pot. Stir the quinoa by hand for a minute. Then cook it in fresh boiling water fur about 12 minutes, or until the quinoa grain has unfurled. Next, you will want shake it dry in the strainer, then spread out on a large plate to cool before adding it to your other shad ingredients. Quinoa adds a lot of great nutrition to your meal, particularly plant proteins.
