A great big thank you to all of you who sent love this week to my family. My step-father Brad Menson - who is my dad in every sense of the word - passed away this week from pulmonary fibrosis. He fought a long hard battle! I was blessed to spend a lot of time with him before he passed away. Mom and I have no regrets. We took the time to say what we needed to say and do the things that we could. Having no regrets makes the passing of someone you love so much easier to take. Think about those closest to you. If something happened to one of them is there something you would regret about not saying or doing? Grief is there, but it is also loaded with lots of smiles and laughter remembering all his little quirks and the great times. Post a cheesy joke here in his honor - those are his favorite and what he was known for. He was always game for a cheesy joke! His were the best!
