A great friend of the Heathmont Football Club, Simon Minson, sadly passed away on September 1 while on an overseas holiday. Simon was living with CF and was therefore uninsurable for any kind of Travel Insurance. The costs incurred by Simons family for getting him back to Australia are beyond belief so the Heathmont Football Club is asking for donations from anyone who knew Simon to assist his family with the huge expense. We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts and even if you didnt know Simon, for donations to help the footy club reach their $100,000 target and ease the financial burden Simons family have had to endure through this extremely difficult time.
