A great grandmother who was told she had terminal lung cancer can now look forward to a new future after she was given the remarkable all-clear by doctors – but only after she moved back here. Lillian Page, of Beechwood Avenue, Immingham, was living in Surrey when she was diagnosed in January 2013 – an experience she described as her worst nightmare. She was referred to a hospice but decided to move back to her home town where doctors at Grimsbys hospital said her life could, in fact, be saved. Click the link to read her remarkable story.
