A great grassroots example of the new sharing economy (a la Airbnb, Uber etc.): So yesterday we found ourselves on our way to the first pre-season football game in Washington DC - along with 70,000 other people. Traffic was crawling along, and as we neared the stadium, we noticed homeowners within walking distance of the stadium running up and down pitching their residential parking spots on the street for $25 - far less than the $60 charged by the stadium! Theyd blocked off the spots with cones, theyd flag you in, wheel and deal (I talked our guy down to $20 :D) and give you their private parking permit to hang on your mirror. Then retrieve it when you leave. I was totally impressed with their hustle, enterprising spirit and the value they were providing! How hard are you hustling to build your enterprise by providing value?
