A great op-ed from Blood, Sweat, and Heels cast member Demetria Lucas joins a chorus of voices calling on BRAVO to take responsibility for the role it played in the Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion fight, as well as the violent, dehumanizing portrayals of Black women throughout its programming: As wrong as Williams was, she is a victim, too. The reunion set was what ColorOfChange.org called a staged hostile environment. Moore repeatedly flicked a scepter in Williams’ face and called her a dumb ho on a bullhorn while she sat just a few feet away... If Williams goes, so should Moore.
