A great piece of film or literature is easily identifiable because it touches our hearts and stirs our souls. It somehow reminds us that life makes no promises--extends no guarantees-and is defined in the end by the beautiful tapestry made up of our greatest memories woven from our most special moments. I watched it with my daughter on a cold and quiet Sunday and it turned an otherwise ordinary afternoon into a extraordinary day neither of us will ever forget. Sometimes we need a little reminder that life is brief and to hold those we love a little tighter--a little longer--and never forget that love and kindness is always its own reward.
