A great start to the day chatting with Chris Wisbey on his ABC WEEKENDS Program. So much to talk about and share on this sunny Sunday morning. There is never enough time to tell the listeners everything that has been going on with Roses from the Heart but today I think we covered a lot in a short space of time. Chris began the interview by mentioning that I am one of the four finalists for the Senior Australian of the Year (Tas) Award and we laughed about the Senior part of the title. We agreed however that this was a wonderful honour and a fantastic opportunity to value our convict womens lives, bringing their stories out from under the carpet. Thank you to all the people who phoned or contacted the ABC this morning. I will be in touch. I am most appreciative of peoples interest and support in the Roses from the Heart memorial.
