A group of ladies, say about 9 of them have known each other in different ways (school, relationships, church, you name it) for a period of over 18 years. In those periods they meet to pray, have fun, fight, be with each other in good time and in bad. Whenever anyone of them was getting married, it was like all of them getting married because they ensured the success of the wedding of the particular person getting married. At the moment, the youngest in this group is 33 years old while the oldest is about 39. Out of the nine, five are now married. It should suffice to know that the men who have married from this group of women are aware of their long standing relationship and have ‘unconsciously’ infused themselves. Now there is a present problem. One of the husbands (not up to 365 days married to one of the ladies) has given a standing order that he does not want his own wife relating with the single ones. His reason being that “they are single” (for me this is a very stupid reason. You are free to think otherwise though) and this is bringing a strain in their relationship. “These are people youve come to know me with and it is not as if I met them yesterday. I have known them long before we ever even dreamt of dating not to talk of marrying and now you are giving orders? Are you saying that when the single ones amongst us get married, I should “resume” relating with them? Why are you like this? Why are you discriminating?” The poor lady laments. “I have given my instruction and it is final!” Oga at the top states…. Hmmmm…. Words fail me….
