A group of riders in the Polgooth area have a passion for riding and in order to facilitate they spend a couple of days or so each year keeping the paths clear from overhanging and encroaching vegetation.They are meeting around 10am at an agreed place on Sunday 6th October and discuss which paths need to be cleared. This is a great way to meet people and enjoy the lovely countryside whilst at the same time helping to keep the ways clear for the many walkers and riders who use them and thus benefit the community as whole. An excellent opportunity to stretch those muscles and gain that feel good factor of the before and after experience of a job well done.You will need clothes suitable for gardening including long trousers and a strong pair of boots or wellingtons.
